The hearts behind it all:
John's Heart for Chorley is expressed through building relationships with agencies and charities in Chorley for the benefit of those that are homeless or at risk.
There are many organisations in Chorley doing amazing work and John's heart is to build strong connections so those at risk can be signposted to the best help for their individual needs.

Sean's Heart for Chorley is expressed through prudent business practices and engaging businesses in Chorley for the support of those that are homeless or at risk.
By creating a business model that can adapt and repurpose in response to the changing requirements in homelessness and housing, the needs of the people will never take second place to the needs of the business.

Sean and John carry over 30 years experience in addiction recovery, supported housing and developing creative coaching packages for personal and professional development.
Sean is also Co Director of Dizzy Duck Designs Ltd where he has supported his wife, Marie in growing the business. Dizzy Duck Designs is now releasing some of Sean's time so that he and John can develop this much needed work.
John has been supporting the work of several charities and community groups in Chorley including The Storehouse Foodbank, St Laurence's drop-in centre and others.
John and Sean have been praying, meeting and planning together for several years regarding the overuse of unsupported bed and breakfast accommodation in Chorley. Encouraged by Ken Phillips who was then the Chair of Chorley Help The Homeless, they had several meetings with Chorley Borough Council offering their hearts to them to support their desire to reduce the use of unsupported accommodation for vulnerable people.
Still working very closely with different departments in the Council Sean and John are taking leaps forward in providing support to those at risk of homelessness, addiction and the poverty that it brings.

A place where the issues and fragilities of the human state as well as its strengths and opportunities are equally resourced for improvement, sustainability and security of individuals, the groups they belong to or identify with, and the wider community they live in.
